How To Be Happy No - Loving Self

We are all here on a journey, and although each one of us seems to come from vastly different parts of the world, the undeniable truth is--we have all come here to learn the same lessons.
In nature there is an intrinsic and divinely beautiful and balanced relationship between the sky and the earth.
The sun delivers to our plants the energy it needs to manufacture within its cells the food and nutrients required to survive. Our plants and animals rely on the sky for the fresh water it needs to live. Our earth provides shelter for the animals in the forests and jungles, and trees for animals with wings.
And when one tree falls, the forest does not mourn--for it accepts the cycle of all things, and rests in the knowing that the carcass of the fallen tree--will inevitably decay and in so doing, even replenish the earth it rots upon.
All things have been born for one reason and one reason only--to live.
And while this sounds simple and even obvious--far too many beings are born--and die--while few truly live.
If our outer realities are mirrors to our inner realities--then I want to be a rose... or an eagle... or maybe a dolphin or an orca whale.
I want to be an extension of all that is and be filled with the kind of harmony that can only come from total knowing that can only be found through faith--the faith of knowing that all is well... no matter what... all is well...
Roses do not fret over when their next thirst will be satisfied, nor do they squirm at the first notice of a winter chill.
As seedlings, roses break through the earth's surface, and claim their right to live. Roses sit back and absorb the energy of the sun just as a vineyard full of grapes might do.
It makes no matter to the rose, that it is but one single rose. Within its DNA is a knowing that goes unquestioned. It is--therefore it is worthy.
My inner being translates this knowing into love. This knowing that is evident in all forms of nature is a vibration of love, peace, and harmony. And like the animals, plant life, and even the stars in the sky, we thinking beasts are capable of the same type of peace. It is capable for us to live in harmony with others--but not first without claiming harmony from within.
When you are a wounded child, your connection to self has been lost. Your faith in your own abilities, in others and even in the world has been damaged. It is as if someone or something has turned off your DNA. You feel like a light has gone out within you, and desperately you feel the desire to know what it is to feel love, accepted, valid and whole.
Interestingly enough, what so many of us enjoy about nature--is love.
What we love about birds, lions, dolphins, and weeping willow trees is their harmony--their peace--their stability--their inner knowing and ultimately their lack of resistance with all that is.
The key to being happy right now, can be found in easing up on our resistance to self. When we stop resisting who we are, and what we want, it is like shedding an old, heavy skin. We move easily from one vibrational point to the next. The shift happens in our consciousness but is felt in our hearts--literally.
If you have been abused, own it. Know you have been neglected, and then stop resisting your right to nurture and love self.
When you look in the mirror, do not resist your aging face and embrace it instead. When you step into your beat up car, love it rather than thinking poorly of it. When you slip into a pair of pants and you notice that they feel snug, do not resist the feeling. Instead love your body for where it is now, and summon the emotion within that allows your inner being to feel accepted rather than rejected for something as nonsensical as bloating.
It is unfortunate that so many of us have been so damaged that we need to learn how to love self. However, it is a miraculous thing to know that beings who have suffered incredible emotional hardships have in fact overcome.
Turn away from what society or your family or your religious institutions have programmed you to believe is correct. A rich man does not make a smart man, nor does a poor man make an ignorant man. Beauty does not guarantee a kind heart, not does lack of beauty equate lack of inner perfection. Turn within instead, and stop resisting your integration.
You are not your body, nor your mind. You are spirit. Your mind allows you to connect to spirit and your body allows you to physically feel spirit.
Peace can only be found within the temple of man--his spirit. Man can be poor, yet full of peace. Man can be dying, yet full of peace, if that man holds within his spirit the knowing that while on this earth--he loved with all of his heart--and most importantly--he knows he lived.
It is only possible to know what it is to live, if one knows what it is to love. And it is only possible to love, by way of loving self enough first, before attempting to love any other.
In spite of where you have been, you can still find peace--now. It is a matter of exercising your free will.
We can accept that we are deserving of love, just as that rose accepts the energy from the sun, the rain from the sky and the nutrients from the earth, or--not. We can stop resisting peace--and embrace our ability to let down our guard and open our hearts to self--or not.

7 Tips on How to Be Happy

Happiness is a choice. It doesn't come from having more money, more stuff or from other people. It comes from inside you. From focusing on things you want, being grateful for what you already have and choosing peace instead of needing to always be right. Happy people live fulfilling, inspiring and joyful lives because they make deliberate choices and decisions every day towards attracting a life they love.
The question is how?
Happy people...
1) Learn to forgive. They understand that holding a grudge is detrimental to their health and causes unnecessary anxiety, stress and discomfort. By forgiving, you take your power back and are able to move onwards and upwards.
2) Are more compassionate and kind to others. When you are nice and treat others with kindness, your brain produces serotonin, a "happy" hormone that reduces stress and raises your spirits. Your compassion and kindness make people want to be around you, and that helps to build and maintain strong and meaningful relationships.
3) Live in the present moment. Typically if you feel depressed, you're living in the past and if you suffer with fear and anxiety you're focusing on the future. You will be much happier when you can focus on the here and now and feel much more in control of your life.
4) Are honest. Lying to yourself and others is stressful because after a while it's hard to keep your stories straight. While it may feel scary to find the courage to tell your truth, you will feel liberated once it's all out in the open.
5) Find opportunity in every challenge. When you go through life focusing on all your "problems", you will always struggle and suffer. Shift your perspective and view your problems as challenges.
Then your creative juices start flowing and you open yourself up to a world of opportunities and new directions.
6) Have a healthy perspective. When happy people are faced with a problem, they ask themselves "Will this matter in a week, month, year from now?" They allow trivial situations to bounce off of them and find a calm and rational way to handle the bigger things that come their way.
7) Surround themselves with other happy people. Hanging out with people who raise you up, support you unconditionally and allow you to be who you truly are, warts and all, will make it much easier for you to remain happy.
The more positive energy you can immerse yourself in, the better you'll feel about yourself and your life.
Action Challenge
Start implementing one or more of the suggestions listed above and make the deliberate choice to be happy.

7 Tips to Be Happy At Work

Let's face it, it seems like most of the population gets up every morning and prepares themselves for a job they don't enjoy. There are very few people that can say they love what they do, so what about the rest? Believe it or not there are 7 little tips that can help you be happier at work.
Start each day with a positive attitude
Despite what happened yesterday or the day before that, walk into work with a positive attitude. Realize that each day can be a day filled with new opportunities and chances to learn if you are open to them.
Not only will your co-workers see the difference in you, your boss might as well. Changing the way they interact with you and you with them.
Take a break
Spending 8-10 hours a day at work can make anyone unhappy. Reward your hard work by stepping away from your desk at lunch time if possible. It will give you the much needed time to unwind and return refreshed for the remaining work day. Consider a walk around the block if it is nice outside.
Eat Healthy
It is a known fact the certain food and drink such as herbal teas, walnuts or a bowl of oatmeal in the morning can help boost your mood. Instead of reaching for a chocolate bar or a bag of chips for your afternoon snack, try and come prepared with a healthy snack.
Find co-workers with common interests
Sometimes the small things can bring a little bit of happiness. Having a conversation with someone you enjoy talking with can be one of them. This may not be possible everyday due to your work load but take time when you can to say a quick hello to the friends at work.
Know your limits
In the corporate world the work day seems longer and the deadlines shorter. So many of us push past that barrier of what we are physically, emotionally, and mentally capable of to complete the task at hand. Know your limits. Pack it in for the night if you need to, or take a much needed break. When we are tired, our mood declines and we are incapable of concentrating on what need to be done.
Stay away from office gossip
Talking about others can seem to boost the mood, but in the long run its negativity can start to wear us down. For where ever there are people talking about others, there are others talking about you. This can lead to mistrust in relationships, so veer away from the gossip to remain happier in your work environment.
Let go of the worries before you go to bed
Too many of us suffer from sleep deprivation due to worrying too much before we go to bed. Lack of sleep can make us stressed and grumpy. If possible, let go of the worries of the day before you get into bed.
Find a relaxing activity to do beforehand such as reading. If you wake up each day feeling refreshed, you may feel happier at work.
Even though most of us don't have much of a choice in where we work, make it a choice in how you spend your days there. We spend most of our waking hours at work, so why not be happy in the meantime?

8 Secrets to a Happy and Motivated Life

If you want to lose weight, end emotional eating, overcome stress, or going beyond the sadness and depression, creating significant changes in your life can create a feeling of unease. You are here, and you want to be there. As attractive as it seems that the outcome of your goal, you can not instantly jump into a happy life full of motivation.

Instead, achieve happiness and success means you have to leave your comfort zone into an unknown journey. On the road between here and there most likely will face many obstacles, setbacks and failures experienced, feel emotions that you do not want to feel, and discovers that he must learn strange new ways of thinking, act, and act if you achieve the result.

One step at a time you enter halfway between where I was and where it is headed. This intermediate position tends to feel weak and unknown. You can fall surefootedly asking if you want to be safe again. One of the secrets to a successful outcome requires the recognition and understanding of the changes that need to be uncomfortable. Its success lies in planning ahead to have the tools and support they need to feel safe, even in the midst of change and uncertainty.

The following strategies are intended to help you find the trust and confidence when in the midst of creating your life happy and motivated.

Acceptance of your trip

Whenever you feel safe, stop and take a moment to breathe deeply. Take several slow, deep breaths. When you breathe, you allow yourself to focus and your inner genius. From downtown, you can get the broader perspective on the significance of the changes you want. You may remember that you are in transition because you made a conscious decision to experience more happiness. You are not a victim of this change, and no one is forced to take this decision. Although the trip from here to there can not be an easy trip, do not forget the joy and success you want to experience is important to you.

Not bad for the fall, but return

When you walk through the middle of the floor transition between where I was and where to go, there will be times when you may feel insecure and doubts about your ability to get what you want. Maybe you encounter an obstacle or an obstacle, or perhaps the amount of effort you need to put forth every day was more than I expected. Will consider leaving. The question is, if you want to quit, will cower, you say you can not have what you want, or desperately begging for someone to come to your rescue? Or do you get up the courage and find a way to make motivation moving forward again? It is normal to stumble and fall, we all do at one time or another. He even agreed to lie on the ground for some time. What is important is that you remember that you are still in your way, keep looking forward, and you can always get what you want. What is the step you can take now to help you increase your level of motivation high?

Choose Faith

Have you ever heard the expression "Feed your faith, not your fears." I like how this sentence can be reduced to a complicated situation in a choice simple. Use this phrase to perform a reality check on you yourself. When you feel doubt or fear, are your thoughts and actions that help build your confidence in yourself that you can have what you want, are causing that descends into a dark spiral of negativity and despair? The question is not whether or not you will experience fear. Fear is a natural byproduct of going on the purpose of travel. The question is how will you deal with fear when it appears - will nourish faith or fear will feed?

Getting Help

His journey between here and there is its own unique experience you need to navigate on their own. Nobody can make the trip for you, and no one can pick up and drop to the other side. The journey itself is what provides the strength, knowledge, wisdom and joy that you seek. Therefore, you must walk our own path - but that does not mean that you can not hold hands with friends for a while. Meeting with a nutritional therapist, life coach, a friend or a counselor on a regular basis to keep you motivated. Support people who can help you, even if the times of insecurity and instability as a reminder that the ability to feel happy and motivated is what most want.

Words are powerful

Be very aware of the words you use. Are the words you speak to yourself help you or leave you feeling helpless? Do you feel alone or against? Encourage yourself when things go well and when things are tough? Learn how to motivate your self with positive language, assertiveness, spiritual and caring is what makes you feel happy and gain motivation to take each next step. Look into your own eyes in the mirror and say good words to convince. It's up to you to provide the motivation you need to succeed.

Take a risk

Change requires you to move your small circle of comfort to one who is bigger and wider. To achieve the ultimate success, you must go beyond the edges of your comfort zone. As Columbus sail to explore the ocean, you are also exploring new uncharted territories. Let yourself be a beginner again - this is the way to grow and transform. If you take a risk and not, learn from experience and adjust their actions. Just do not give up!

Create a ritual to honor the change

Symbolically recognizing your trip by creating a ritual to honor the growth and changes that you made. A ritual can be something that has a metaphorical meaning for you. Maybe they could bury their scale, donate all their greatest clothes, giving your diet books at the local library, a celebration of your trip with friends, or even a list of all the things that were taking in small strips of paper and burn. Take some kind of physical action to recognize how it moves along. This creates a deep sense of meaning and importance of their daily actions, and raise their level of motivation. Promote respect for the transition that you are involved in. A ritual can help to close a door that is ready to close.

Get a transitional object

Your ability to feel happy and have the motivation can also increase when wearing a transitional object. The transitional object may remind their success so far, and keep your vision of your overall goal. The object could be something that reminds you of your trip, or it can be an element that provides comfort.

Link your sense of touch to feel happy and motivated. For example, think about how a child is able to console himself with a stuffed animal or blanket, or how string can help you to place new thoughts of love. Find your own transitional object that you can touch, caress, or having to remember the importance of travel and give you the motivation to continue. Here is a list of transient objects that could be easily carried in your pocket or in your body:

Small smooth stone or

or Crystal

or necklace

or the annular

or Seashell

How to Be Happy and Live With the Flow

f you want to know how to be happy and live with the flow, you have to understand that you don't control all things.
You are not the person that is ultimately in control of every infintestinal aspect of your life. I live happy and with the flow every single day. I stress over very little as I navigate my lifescape.
Why?
Because I believe in God. It's as simple as that. I believe that I am living a great life that he has planned for me and He is guiding the ship. There are things that I want and I go for those things, but I do so with His blessing.
If you know that you want to live a happy life, you have to know there is more than struggle, strife, pain and suffering. There has to be a reason you were purposed to be here and brought into being.
He provides the ultimate joy that you can use to hold onto in those dark times. You hold on because you know that God will be there to see you through, carry you when you fall and put a blessing on you that will see you out of the dark times.
John 16: 21-24 says when a woman gives birth, it's painful but there is joy in bringing life.
This is the same about trials and tribulations and coming out of negative seasons. You appreciate life for what it is because you've overcome an obstacle.
You are triumphant in your success.
It is a measure of peace that comes with knowing that there is a virtual hand out here created from the clouds who will reach out and catch you when you are falling. He will right you on your feet and give you opportunities that will allow you to get back on track. But in some way you have to look at the direction you were going in.
I believe you only fall when you're on the wrong path. That's the only one of the times you're sent a shove to the ground. It's a wake up call-a spiritual call to action that says, "Hey that's not where you are supposed to be and if you don't correct yourself I will."
God is a loving being and He is the ultimate parent.
He will guide you to success and shake his head when you're persistent in your own destruction. Those gentle shoves or nudges are meant to change the course of direction you are going in. It's been proven time and time again via testimony.
I have that testimony but I had to go through the test first. It was a miraculous journey filled with highs and incredible lows and I know this isn't the end of it, but I have settled into a more peaceful place spiritually.
I listen to that still small voice and I know that He won't steer me wrong. When I want something from him, I go to Him and I ask. I don't worry, I don't talk it to death. I imagine myself with it and I thank him for providing it for me.
This is ultimately how to be happy and how to go with the flow. Know that His spirit is keeping you and guiding you to ultimate success. All you have to do is, believe.

It's Never Too Late To Be Happy - But It's All Up To You and No One Else

Chris came into my office with a dejected look on his face. He was in his sixties and had been a successful business man for many years in our community. He retired at the age of 62 being financial set for the rest of his life.

"How is the family?" I asked as I watched his demeanor closely for clues as to what was going on. Chris and I had been friends for many years and I had never seen him in this mood or with the visage he portrayed that day.

"The wife is fine, busy with all her social engagements," said Chris. "The three kids have their lives busy with the grand kids and their jobs. We get together often and have a real good time. I just don't feel happy, Dr. Bob.

"I've been coming to your coaching sessions for many years and you and I have been friends for all that time.

The other day I realized I am growing older. I just don't seem to feel as happy as you say we can be. What's going on with me?"
"It's never too late to be happy," I offered.
It can be too late for some things in life.
• Too late to start an athletic career.
• Too late to start a retirement fund.
• Too late to learn to be a concert pianist.
• Too late, with developing physical impairments, to climb Mt. Everest.
• Too late to take a supersonic plane ride because your heart could not stand the g-forces.

But it is never too late to be happy because being happy does not require any physical exertion nor any particular state of physiological ability. Happiness is acquired simply by being in a particular frame of mind and spirit.

"Chris," I said, "you are not too old or anything else to find happiness. You already know that material things and other people cannot bring you happiness.

You have a vibrant family and are well situated financially. Still unhappy, though. So you know that angle well. I suspect you have not yet made a significant association with The All There Is, or as we say a lot around here, Tathis."
"But I have attend here for decades," Chris said in a manner that led me to believe he was affronted by my suggestion. "I know most everything you have taught by heart."

"Hold on, Chris, I did not mean to imply anything negative about your relationship with Tathis. But you have declared yourself unhappy and I find that folks who are unhappy do not have a dominant affinity with Tathis."
Chris seemed to calm down at those words. I suggested a guided meditation at that moment. Chris agreed, although I sensed it was somewhat reluctantly.

I led us to the mountain lake experience wherein Chris was to throw all his cares, negativities, concerns, challenges, problems, positivities, joys, fun, laughter, into that tranquil lake. We took in the beauty in sight and smell of the land surrounding the lake. Then, in our minds, just sat and relaxed, calling upon Tathis to make Its presence known in us.

I brought us back into the office where we were seated. "How do you feel now, Chris?"
"Well, I never have had such a close encounter with Tathis as I just experienced. I don't know what was different about it, but I felt closer and with a greater bond than I have ever felt before. Something definitely changed within me."
We talked some more and made two additional appointments to work further together. Over those three coaching sessions Chris came to break through his unhappiness and, especially in the second session, develop a real affinity for Tathis. He felt Tathis' kinship towards him expand as well.

Of course, Tathis' kinship is always active and strong toward you. Your receptivity to this door of happiness may not be as open as you had thought.

It is never too late to find happiness - no matter any other circumstances in your life, including your impending death. As long as you are conscious and aware you can make linkage with Tathis and find yourself happier and happier. Get to it.

How To Be Happy Without Popping a Pill

Runners grasp this. Shamans create it. Gardeners dig it. Speakers channel it. Gurus know it. What is their secret for being able to cultivate, foster, and embody lasting happiness? They have learned how to raise their frequency and vibrate at a higher hertz.

What do I mean by raising your frequency?
First, we are both body and spirit. Since spirit cannot be seen with the naked eye, spirit is simply another label for energy. If we eat junk food, smoke, lie, and gossip, we are naturally lowering the frequency of our energetic body. This frequency brings conflict, limitation, and stress. If we eat green foods, drink an abundance of water, speak the truth, and celebrate the successes of others as if they were our own, we raise our frequency and embody true happiness.

In Power vs. Force, David Hawkins developed the concept of consciousness frequencies to explain how humanity can raise itself into higher consciousness.
The scale of consciousness frequencies runs from 0-1000, 0 being the lowest frequency with a turning point around 200, where we move from self-destructive to life-enhancing experiences. At the bottom of the scale is shame calculated at a frequency of 100, progressing up through apathy, grief, and fear, to anger, pride, and finally, at level 200, to courage. Above this line, beginning with courage, it progresses up to neutrality, acceptance, reason, then further up to love, joy, peace, and finally reaching level 700 embarks on the various states of enlightenment.

Why do people embody shame, undeservedness, or self-destruction when they know it will not lead to happiness? I believe the answer lies in a prescription drug statistic.

In 2002 Express Scripts, one of the largest mail-order pharmaceutical providers in the United States, released their Prescription Drug Atlas, which shows prescription drug order statistics by state.
The statistics showed that antidepressant drugs are prescribed in Utah more often than in any other state, at a rate nearly twice the national average.
Utah's rate of antidepressant use was twice the rate of California and nearly three times the rates in New York and New Jersey. Since Utah is 70% Mormon, one could deduce that religion does not lead to happiness.

Why does religion fail to lead the masses to lasting happiness? The answer points back to energy. When a person is baptized into a Christian religion, the waters of baptism carry a belief system of unworthiness, undeservedness, shame, fear, and guilt because of the polarity mindset of sin.

Those beliefs become an integral part of your energetic body affecting your thoughts and actions on a consciousness and unconscious level.

These beliefs become a frequency fence from raising your vibration out of dualistic concepts of sin and righteousness rather than truly seeing yourself as a divine being automatically connected to Source regardless of outside actions.

To truly embody happiness means you are embodying your Higher Self, the person who knows he or she is whole as they are. This is the frequency of growth, success, and new opportunity.

Perhaps you have given up the junk food, cigarettes, gossip, and even exercise but you still do not feel happy. So, how can you be happy without popping a pill or drinking alcohol to chemically induce a fake idea of happiness? The answer is in your DNA. Just as scientists believe that a person's sexual orientation is found in their DNA, so is happiness.

Everything in life, including happiness, is controlled by frequency. The frequency by which you oscillate is determined by your DNA, and dormant DNA can be turned on. Consider activating your DNA to become a happier person and attract a whole new world full of new opportunity, people, places, abundance, and freedom.

Success Factors You Can Choose to Be Happy

It is up to you to choose the success factors that can bring you happiness in your life.

There are so many sources that you come across every day telling you what to do in order to achieve the success you want. You can learn how to be happy but you must choose wisely who you listen to.
Not everybody is able to give you the full perspective on the success factors you need to apply in your behaviors to attract happiness.

One of the man you can trust in this matter is Craig Ballantyne. He is the person who has a rich experience as regards to helping people make choices about what success factors they can learn to be really independent in their lives.

Craig Ballantyne is a founder of Early to Rise movement which is about health and wealth. He wants to teach people how they can live their lives well and what success factors they may take advantage of.

Ballantyne wants to remind you that non-stop action throughout the day and the lifestyle where you have no time for rest is not the optimal path to your happiness.

This kind of approach is not one of the success factors you should choose to achieve greatness.
When you tend to spend all your weekends on hard work, it is a very wrong approach to optimal performance. Why is that? Well, the more tired you are, the more probability your actions don't lead to good ideas. And you need ones to be competitive in the business fields you represent.
If you decide to work till late hours every day, it is not the best way to take advantage of the success factors available for you to choose from.

There is another important thing when it comes to success factors that are able to bring you as much success as you wish.

So called "no vacation culture" creates an oversupply of burnt out, frustrated employees that have no chance to recharge and regenerate. This way you can achieve only short-term results. It is not the case, isn't it? In order to take full advantage of the success factors that can lead you to happiness in life, you should have long-term progress in mind only.

Tony Schwartz, the co-author of the interesting book "The Power of Full Engagement", said it this way:
"Performance, health and happiness are grounded in the skillful management of energy"
In the book, Tony Schwartz and Jim Loehr have noticed that your workday should be a series of sprints, not a marathon. What's more, within your day there should be recovery periods.
This discovery may seem to be a little bit radical, but I think you can agree with my opinion that the above is way better approach to successful living.

You know, the required level of relaxation is one of the most important success factors you can imagine. Tony Schwartz strongly believes that these days the concept of energy management is becoming more important than the idea of time management. According to this concept, employees sleeping less than six hours per night were found to have the greatest on-the-job burn-out. And of course if you sleep less, you kill your productivity. That's for sure.

Tony Schwartz finds out some excellent techniques for improving employee performance and health. You can call them success factors which are going to accelerate your pursue for happiness. His recommendations are daytime workouts, short afternoon naps, longer sleep hours, more time away from the office and longer, more frequent vacations. Keep them in mind if you really want to use the best success factors to obtain greatness you deserve.
