Therefore, there is no stigma linked to the substance. Men begin chewing it at around twenty five and go on till death in areas where it grows on its own. However, some states in the native region of this tree render its use illegal.
Current scientific research shows that liquid extracted from kranthum has many health effects. It is composed of more than 40 unique substances including alkaloids like 7-hydroxymitragynine, mitragynine, and mitraphylline. Other active compounds consist of raubasine and corynantheidine.
